DIY// MAKEUP STORAGE IDEAS

You don’t really need to spend money to get makeup holders. You can do a DIY. It is really important to organise your makeup station. It makes it look neater and also makes makeup application enjoyable.

  • PLANT POT TO STORE MAKEUP BRUSHES:My favourite makeup brush holder is the plant pot, especially this one I got from Ikea. It is well made, comes in so many designs and are generally inexpensive.

  • KEEP YOUR COTTON PAD AND BUDS IN KLINER AIR-TIGHT JARS: Sometimes keeping your cotton pads in the bathroom can get quit messy. And also dust and germs might absorb in the cotton pads. You might want to consider using an air tight container such as kilner jar in other to avoid germs in the air from absorbing in the cotton pad plus storing them there will make them look nicer in your bathroom shelf or window sill. Also you can dress it up a little by adding a ribbon. I got this in IKEA.

  • OLD CANDLE HOLDER FOR LIPSTICKS AND LIPLINERS: I also used my old candle holder to store my lipsticks and lip liners. I got it from Ikea also. I took out the candle wax,put my lipsticks and lipliner in it and store it beautifully on my shelf.
